Wow - did this month just seem to totally fly by or what!? For me, it didn't "seem" to fly. It "did" fly! Completely flew. Flew right away! I have no idea where it went, but I have an inkling it's with all the other past Novembers. Gone. Does it makes you a little sad, too, to see the time pass so quickly?
So how did you all do on the month-long challenge? Did you get 30 things posted on a sidebar list? If so, consider copying them into a separate post for posterity. Did you go so far as to write a thankful post each day? If so, my hat's off to you. Even though the challenge is over for another year, I hope you won't stop giving thanks. It's a command from our Creator (in 1 Thess. 5:18), it's not hard to do, and it's really good for us! It changes us somehow. Makes us more aware. And even more thankful. A good cycle to be caught in!
I want to say thank you to everyone who participated, to everyone who emailed me such great words of encouragement, to all my "helpers" who visited so many, and to the Lord for blessing me again this year. I've made some great new friends - always such a bonus - and strengthened old friendships. You're all great!

Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Leah. I waved as we drove past. Would love to stop and say hi, but with such long drives, we felt the push to get home.
I loved this challenge. It made the month seem longer, slower, more enjoyable. It did wonders for my soul!
Just so thankful to get through November without storm damage, it sort of says it all...

Yes, I posted something every day in my sidebar and tomorrow that will go away to make way for Christmas. I'm so thankful He came! Thanks to your suggestion for copying the sidebar list, I did place it on Thanksgiving Day. A perfect place to find it again! Thank you, Leah, for all you did to make it a great month of being thankful. It does change us somehow.

Leah I want to thank you so much for hosting GTC, It was such a joy and pleasure for me. I had planned to post each day, but didn't get to it, as it was a very busy month for me, however, I did keep a list, and it was hard to narrow it down to just one a day. I now find myself each day, looking at simple blessings and being so thankful. One thing I am thankful for is new found friendships and you being one of them.

The month has flown by too fast, but I did manage to be thankful every day because of you.
