Coffee

I joined the coffee-lover's club late in life. What, I ask you, was I waiting for? The answer to that: "I have no earthly idea!" Lord, forgive me for being such a slacker!  Now it seems I'm making up for lost time.

I really only enjoy it with cream, so that's a whole 'nother club I suppose. The purists probably wouldn't have me.  This time of year I like the Pumpkin Spice and Gingerbread flavors, and am anxious for my local grocery to stock Peppermint Mocha. However, French Vanilla always has a visible presence in the frig.

I discovered a few quotes recently and thought I'd share with the rest of you coffee lovers.

"Caffeine isn't a drug ~ it's a vitamin."

"I don't have a problem with caffeine. I have a problem without caffeine."

"I start working when my coffee does."

"Mothers are those wonderful people who can get up in the morning before the smell of coffee."

"A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent."

Another early morning for me. I began a few hours ago with my laptop, a super-soft blanket in a comfy chair, and my coffee. I'm happy.

I'll share a cup of pumpkin spice with you! Even though I drink my regular coffee black, I do enjoy the flavored coffees on occasion, especially the autumn selections.

How interesting! I started drinking coffee to be a little more social. You know, offered a cup while visiting and it just seemed the thing to do. Now I'll still have that cup when visiting, but I also have a morning cup of coffee made by John and served to me at the computer. It just arrived. Hmmmm, a bit of heaven in a mug.

We like our coffee the same way almost, I just like plain cream and one sweetener.

Enjoy those holiday flavors!

I don't care for coffee. It smells good, but I don't love the taste, and I've found that even decaf bothers my stomach, too. Tea or cocoa for me!

I LOVE coffee. I start my day with a cup or two. The holiday flavors are good. Sometimes I will buy the flavored creamers so I can still have a cup o Joe, plain--my preferance, but then for a treat have a flavored cup.

I love the smell of coffee, but don't drink it. For some reason it doesn't agree with me. I have a Pepsi instead!

I am one of those who has a coffee pot with a timer. I set it to start 30 minutes before I get up. I love all the flavors mentioned or just a couple spoons of hot chocolate mix makes a nice cafe mocha! sounds like a good start to your day!

I just can't get the coffee thing. I don't know why. I think I just don't like hot drinks in general ;) I guess I start working when my Diet Coke does :) hehehe

I've tried and tried to be a coffee drinker- but I guess I am a die hard Dr. Pepper addict.

I had a thankful for sweet tea yesterday. Must be beverage day :)
I actually have been finding that I really enjoy coffee too. My friends call what I drink "candy coffee" and I like it with a lot of cream and sugar and a little coffee.

I started drinking coffee because I just loved the smell and couldn't very well make it and then not drink it! :) Pumpkin Spice is my favorite, but Hazelnut and French Vanilla are my faithful favorite standbys.

My grandfather used to make me milk coffee when I was a kid. I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee right now enjoying this post. I still drink it with lots of coffeemate.

Leah, have a blessed day.
