Get Ready

Can you believe that the first day of November is less than two weeks away now? How does that happen? Days seem to roll into weeks, months into years, and here I am in my early 40’s already. Yikes!

With November comes another “Giving Thanks Challenge”. I sure hope that’s something you’d like to participate in this year because I would love to host it again! What an uplifting month it turns out to be for me - getting a glimpse into the hearts of so many women as they share their lists. I just love it!

The button and code for this year are over on my side bar, so you can grab and post it whenever you want. For now, it’ll lead back to this post. But once the challenge begins, I’ll change the code so it’ll bring you to the first official post. Getting the button up now might also help your own readers start to mull over and plan for how they’re going to join in, too.

How about you? What will you decide to do? Keep a numbered list growing on your side bar all month or a short post each day? Perhaps you’d like to write a weekly re-cap of things that came to your mind? If you have other ideas, I hope you’ll share them! Please know that anything is acceptable and highly encouraged! I’d just love for you to join in!

And I’ll leave it with that today.

Happy Fall!

It seems that the older I get, the faster time goes by. Looking forward to the Giving Thanks Challenge

For the past few years now, I have participated in Blog Your Blessings, a Sunday meme that does this, as well. I will try to participate in this meme this year. What a great idea!

Just found you at Sandi's. I am beginning my birthday month and that means, to me, giving all month instead of getting. I need nothing but love from family, and new found friends from cyberspace. I am planning a give away for my blogaversary on 11/13/09 since I am new to this hope it comes out right. I have your button and will be a new follower. I am having Google problems so can't get on Followers list but you will be on my blog list. Thanks for this invite.

It will be a challenge but I try to count my blessings every day - let's see if I can keep it up consistently for a month . . .

I meant to spell Sandi's name. It would appear that I know a lot of wonderful women named Sandy, Sandi, Sandie, Sandee.

I came over from Sandi's.;) I would like to participate (am I too late?), but I am not exactly sure I understand the rules; am I suppose to list things I am thankful for in each post or only in a list on the sidebar.;) Sorry for my ignorance.;)

OK--so I just found your blog because *I* created a "Month of Giving Thanks" Challenge on my own blog and several of my readers have joined in..and their readers...so I was having to google to get a handle on just how many participants we had! HA! :) I'm a bit red in the face now to think I was the only one to have such a fabulous idea. :)

So I just wanted to say "hi" and let you know that you're not alone! :) KEEP IT UP! :)
